Corvaglia concludes Mexico’s plant expansion

On July 24th, 2004, Corvaglia Closure initiated its first closure operation in Ixtlahuaca, Mexico. Today, we proudly announce that on May 3rd, 2011, the expansion of the closure production was inaugurated in the presence of the executive board. Corvaglia Closures Ixtlahuaca has started with 2500 m2 and two injection lines and produces today over two billion closures per year. With the just finished expansion, Corvaglia Closures Ixtlahuaca has doubled the floor space and its production capacity.

 Additionally, Corvaglia Closures will be able to develop and serve the closure market in this region even better. The beverage market continues its trend to one component closures. Corvaglia as a trendsetter in this market segment is excellently prepared for this changeover and offers individual and economical cap solutions to their clients.
